LUSH Cosmetics~ Cosmetic Warrior Review

So as you guys can tell from the title I have recently tested out Lush Cosmetics face mask Cosmetic Warrior. First off, the name…. it kinda bothers me because is supposed to have good properties for acne problems and cosmetics aren’t the only causes of acne. The name aside the mask needs to be refrigerated after opened. This is why you can’t purchase this product online but only in store.

The thickness of the product is amazing and because it’s been refrigerated, it feels like it warms to your skin when applied. I know, I know…. we all have our favorites that we like and get used to because they work the first time, especially when it comes to acne prone skin. But taking a chance on this mask is great!

Let’s break this down some of these ingredients: Garlic is a big component in this mask and helps to reduce red spots and clear the complexion. The grapes are good for cleansing and helps prevent bacteria from getting into the pores. The egg whites and honey are good for moisturizing and smoothing out the skin. Kaolin cleans and exfoliates the skin. These are the main ingredients that make Cosmetic Warrior the acne and skin problem fighting mask it is.

Tools For The Skin

I have tried so many different cleansers and moisturizers on my skin for acne that the list is miles long! And with each one I almost always forgot that using your hands to apply these products was not the best idea. Mostly because your hands and fingers contain oils and bacteria from throughout your day, and I don’t always think washing your hands before applying a skin product completely gets rid of them. But recently I have discovered two cleansing brushes that really have helped my skin!

The Danielle

The first one I want to talk about is the Danielle Face Cleanser. This is a battery operated cleanser, which is great for anyone especially travelers. There are also different versions depending on your skin needs. I have found it to range from $20-$40 depending on where you shop. This cleanser gets all your makeup off as well as cleans out the bacteria and oil that gets into your pores throughout the day. The cleansing pads it comes with are very gentle but remember that you have to change them out every few months to keep the cleanser clean and working.

The Clarisonic Mia Cleanser

This is another great cleanser to use. The Mia is a rechargeable cleanser that also has different variations based on your skins needs. With this one you should also change the bristle brush every few months to keep your skin clear. This is a great cleanser to use however the only problem I have with it is that the price can range from $130-$150. If you’re on a high school/college budget it may not be the cleanser for you. But it gets all the makeup from your day off, cleans your skin so nicely, and works great in the shower!

There are definitely differences and similarities between these two products. You have to decide which one is right for you. I have used both of them and found things that I loved about each one and things that I didn’t. If your looking for a great cleanser, I definitely recommend both of these. But do your research on them and decide which one is best for you and your skin!

Innisfree REVIEW

I am the person who loves to find new products for my skin. For me it is always changing and for this post I wanted to do a review on a company called Innisfree.innisfree is a Korean based company that makes skin, makeup, and body products. But for this post I wanted to do a review on the skin products. So far I have tried four of their most popular products

Here are my inputs on these products-

The Green Tea Cleansing Foam (Top Left): I was not a fan of this one. It didn’t foam up very easily and over time my skin did not look like it had gotten rid of all the imperfections. After I washed it off, my skin didn’t feel smooth or clean but like it had been scrubbed raw. I was not a fan

The Juju Volcanic Clay Mask (Top Right): I loved the way my skin felt after this. Rejuvenated and everything! But the mask didn’t always harden enough. It also didn’t always clear out my pores completely and if I accidentally left it on longer than instructed, it would irritate my skin

The Super Volcanic Clay Mask (Bottom Left): This one was a favorite of mine! It cleared out all the dirt on my skin, hardened nicely, and left my skin so smooth! I liked both volcanic masks but I think I just needed one that would be able to clear out my skin better

The Green Tea Sleeping Pack (Bottom Right): I have never used a sleeping mask before but I loved this one! It was so light and dried just enough so that my face wasn’t sticking to my pillow when I went to sleep! And when I woke up my skin would feel so moisturized and ready for the day!
